PARSE – new platform for artistic research

The University of Gothenburg has announced the launch of PARSE a new platform for artistic research publishing – combining conference, peer-reviewed journal, and imprint – and to promote research exchange between the arts and other disciplines. The Advisory Board for the new platform comprises internationally recognised figures from across contemporary art, design, performing arts, philosophy including: Bruno Latour, Professor at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris; Ute Meta Bauer, Associate Professor, MIT; Simon Critchley, Professor of Philosophy, New School, NY; Andrea Phillips, Reader in Fine art, Goldsmiths, London; Henk Slager, Dean MaHKU and Professor of Artistic Research, University of the Arts, Utrecht; Darla Crispin, Associate Professor at Norges musikkhøgskole; and Lou Yongqi, Dean & Professor, College of Design & Innovation, Tongji University.

The first issue of the Journal – on the theme of “JUDGEMENT” will be launched in November 2014. The programme and agenda of the platform will be published in May 2014.
