Next EARN Working Meeting Kassel 17-18 December 2011

The EARN Network members are meeting December 17 and 18, 2011 in order to finalise plans for the EARN programme in 2012. An update will be posted in late January 2012 with announcements of the 2012 EARN programme.

Artist as Citizen 2009-2010

A report on the EC-EACEA co-funded work of the "Artist as Citizen" Group is now available. This collaborative work process brought members of EARN together with cultural agencies, informal artists' networks and independent theorists and artists to investigate the relationships between art, research and the public sphere with particular reference to the emergent practices of contemporary European experimental culture and artistic research.

Helsinki, Gothenborg, and Leeds – CICA

Changing Identities and Contexts in the Arts (CICA) is a collaborative EU project with partners that include three EARN members - Helsinki, Gothenborg and Leeds - as well as several other agencies. For more information go to the CICA project website - www.changingidentities.eu

 

CICA examines artistic and arts research and changes in the identity of the European artist. CICA is coordinated by the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and other partners of the project are the Community Relations and Development unit of the Finnish National Gallery, The University of Gothenburg, Göteborgs konsthall, The University of Leeds, the Henry Moore Institute and Project Space Leeds.
